Don’t get us wrong, we love a list of all the best places to eat, drink and play in Sydney. That’s what Kolide’s all about! However, there is oft one forgotten little gem that every venue has, but sometimes doesn’t do so well. Trust us, we know you breathe a sigh of relief when you find a toilet with a fully enclosed door and perhaps a little relaxing candle. We’ve found the top ten places to go to the toi toi in peace, whilst also boasting killer food and drink. Don’t be embarrassed, we know everyone appreciates a good bathroom.
EVEN THE QUEEN GOTTA GO SOMETIMES!
1. Bills | Bondi
The door and the floor go right to the bottom, so that no one will hear. They also have a lot of STUN soaps, candles burning and fresh hand towels. Smells like heaven, no matter what! While you’re there, you can’t leave Bills without trying the scrambled eggs and avo.
2. The Bucket list | Bondi
***4 GIRLS ONLY*** There’s a huge number of cubicles in this joint but if you’re in there on a weekend and there’s a line, you’re bound to be sprung, so watch out! The line to the girls and boys sometimes mixes though and there’s usually a few hotties. P.s, don’t miss out Bucket list’s Sneaky Sundays, so much fun, but equally really busy if you’re needing to do a lil poopy.
3. The Royal | Paddington
We highly recommend visiting level 2 only, the ones at the bottom level are small and the doors don’t go to the floor. Plus it’s the perfect venue to enjoy roof top drinks.
4. Manly Wine | Manly
Again, plenty of cubicles, floor goes right to the bottom, no gaps. Don’t forget to try their frosé. Yes, that’s frozen rose.
5. Da Orazio | Bondi
They take it to a whole new level and give you your own room with its own basin to wash your hands. It’s super dark, so you look FANTASTIC in the mirror. Ah, and on your way out, please try the eggplant pizza, with a bottle of their house Italian wine.
6. Hugos | Manly
Same deal, your own bathroom, with a basin. PLUS, if you’re on a date, you’re guaranteed to feel comfortable both in and out of the bathroom, it has the BEST view of Manly.
7. Vino e Cucina | Paddington
These toilets are MAD. They have they’re own room as well. They also offer $20 all you can eat pizza every Monday. Shaka!
8. Bathers Pavillion | Mosman
There’s never too many people lining up here and the entire toilet block is made of cement walls, so pretty sound proof, if ya know what I mean? And did we mention, Bather’s has pretty much the best view in Mosman and delicious food to match.
9. Fratelli Paradiso | Potts Point
You get your own bathroom and basin here and this is arguably the best breakfast spot in Sydney. It gets super busy and there ain’t an abundance of toilets despite the luxury bathrooms.
10. The Light Brigade |Paddington
This newly renovated venue has a huge powder room for ladies with a tonne of beautiful cubicles. This means you poo in peace before enjoying their delicious weekly specials and their brand spanking new rooftop.
