A TRADITIONAL COCKTAIL EXPERIENCE

The newly opened cocktail bar, The Long Goodbye, is a 1940’s film noir inspired venue with killer cocktails to match. The place is dark and gothic, filled with dripping candle sticks, spacious leather couches and lighting that’s phenomenal for a first date. Inspired by the film, The Long Goodbye, the noir genre translates perfectly in this space.
Once you’ve found a comfortable spot on the leather couches, you’ll be asked about cocktails, the old school way: ‘What do you feel like?’ Perhaps you’re after a hint of elder flower with tones of cucumber and a vodka base. Nothing is impossible here and the cocktails to match are impressive.
The sky is the limit and that’s because owner Flynn McLennan has a passion for all things cocktail and even owns an ultrasconic machine to create unique, homegrown flavours such as a strawberry balsamic shrub.
Head on down for a cocktail or ten, you won’t be confined by a menu and instead, you’ll be choosing the ingredients you love. Saying Goodbye to this place will be difficult (and long)!
