THE MOST SOCIAL OF SUNDAYS
Kensington Street Social sits in the hub of the newly opened Central Park precinct and we couldn’t be more excited with their newly launched Social Sunday offering.
Sunday’s should be spent at a stylish table, with a drink in hand and this is exactly the vibe that encapsulates the Kensington Street Social Sunday offering. Oh and did we mention, this is Michelin star and chef extraordinaire, Jason Atherton’s first Australian venue. The food is to die for!
Book yourself in for brunch or lunch and make sure you begin with a glass or two of frosé. This cocktail sensation sweeping across Sydney is hugely popular and we can guarantee that Kensington Street Social have absolutely nailed this frosé. It is delightful and comes with a wedge of watermelon to ensure you get the perfect Insta. We also highly recommend the bottomless sparkling offering for $35 a head, you’ll never have to contemplate the glass half full or empty conundrum.
Dishes that you must try include: the Social Dog, a beautifully displayed hot dog with pork and fennel sausage, green apple cheddar, mustard and black pudding sprinkled on the top. Couple this with the Tataki Hiramasa Kingfish and the delicious grilled Asparagus. The Breakfast Rice is also a must try, which will arouse the senses with the slow cooked hens egg, shiitake mushroom, pork belly and bacon dashi. It’s an inventive Asian inspired take on scrambled eggs.
Once you’ve indulged in cocktails and brunch, continue the social Sunday into the Clare Bar from 4pm and enjoy live music and drinks for the rest of the afternoon!
