MADE ESTABLISHMENT AND GEORGE CALOMBARIS TO OPEN TWO SOUVLAKI BARS IN SYDNEY
MAdE Establishment and chef George Calombaris, have opened Sydney’s first-ever Jimmy Grants souvlaki bar in Sydney Central Plaza and Newtown.
If you haven’t heard of Jimmy Grants from Australia’s food capital: Melbourne, then let us explain- the best souvlaki you may have EVER tasted and features the most ordered UberEATS dish (Mr Papadopoulos) across the world.
The aim is to serve Sydney-siders Greek food with a modern and gourmet spin. It’s fast food with a slow food mentality and the team at Jimmy Grants take inspiration from Australia’s immigrant culture, delivering fresh food experiences on the go.
We know you’ll LOVE their signature souva, Mr Papadopoulos, which includes slow-roasted lamb, mustard aioli, chips, onions and parsley. We also love that the menu features aspects of a healthy Mediterranean diet, featuring share plates with a choice of succulent lamb or chicken, fresh salads and grains bursting with flavour. MAdE also recently launched its own organic soda range ‘Tricycle’, which is delicious.
The stores have an urban vibe featuring graffiti murals and vintage photographs alongside repurposed and industrial materials. The murals and photos bring to life the stories of the immigrant spirit and journey.
Head on down to the Central Plaza or Newtown store and get your hands on a Mr Papadopoulos ASAP. We know you’ll love it!
