Eat.
Yum Yum Angourie Cafe and General Store.
This cute little nook is like walking into a vintage store with the smell of freshly baked goods filling the space. With plenty of GF, vegetarian and vegan options, the menu does not disappoint. Must try iced oat latte
Good Days Yamba.
Great spot for a takeaway coffee, juice and ACAI bowls.
Beachwood Cafe
This would have to be one of our top picks for food with delicious mediterranean and middle-eastern fare. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, our favourites include scrambled eggs with herbs & feta, braised broad beans with garlic yoghurt (what they’re most famous for) and baked eggplant + dolmades.
Paradiso Restaurant & Bar
Situated at the top of Pilot Hill, Paradiso offers incredible cocktails and a yummy Asian inspired menu. Beware the cocktails are strong – but so good! Must try the Bucha Spritz, the Cucumber Margarita and Katsu Chicken Bao.
Barbaresco
Located just outside of Yamba, near the beautiful Angourie Beach, Barbaresco is a must visit for dinner and cocktails – with a stunning Mediterranean inspired fit out and a seriously good spicy marg – you’re set for the evening.
BGR Spot.
This great spot is located a stone’s throw away from the Pacific Hotel and is great for an after swim burger. The burgers are large and in charge – just the way we like them with a variety of options. The Shrooms of Doom is a delish option for the veggos.
Pacific Hotel.
The Pacific is the local pub that you’ll probably spend most of your afternoons at. With panoramic views over Yamba Main beach, the atmosphere is relaxed with excellent food and drink. Can’t beat their chicken schnitty.
